The Wainscott School District has had the water from the facets in the old school house retested by the Suffolk County Water Authority. We Are pleased that the water was found to be of satisfactory bacteriological and chemical quality and that the test inducted that water with a lead concentration of below instrument detection limits ( for all practical purposes zero).
The District is committed to any steps necessary to ensure safe sources of drinking water for the school.
Both faucets Have been replaced; a water filter system has been installed and all pipes related to the water supply have been replaced.
